TOKYO ART CRAFT FESTA
English Guide

Market event on the theme of carving, cutting, shaving, drawing and stamping at “Asakusabashi” in Tokyo!

“Tokyo Art Craft Festa” is composed of three main areas, the “Carving Festa” zone of carving hobby, the “Eraser Stamp Village” zone of eraser stamp that is attracting attention again on TV and books, and “Stamp Wonderland mini” zone of rubber stamp art hobby that is very popular in Japan and overseas. Various creators, artists, shops and manufacturers gather from each genre.

In addition to selling handmade works, art works, tools and materials, there will be a hands-on corner, demonstrations, workshops, and an “Eraser Stamp Contest” called “International Eraser Stamp Competition”. It is an event where you can discover “something new” of your favorite arts and crafts. Please enjoy a special day.

“Asakusabashi”, located between “Akihabara”, Japan’s pop culture hub and “Ryogoku”, a sumo wrestling site, is famous that home to many Japanese doll shops, packaging stores, artificial flower shops, bead shops, and leather craft shops.

In recent years, the number of fashionable galleries and cafes has increased, making it a city where people who like art and craft can spend time.

The Tosho Center exhibition hall in Asakusabashi, the venue for the Tokyo Art Craft Festa, is an open space overlooking the Sumida River. From the venue, you can see the unique water buses that cross the Sumida River, the roof of the Ryogoku Kokugikan known for sumo, and the Tokyo Sky Tree in the distance.
